Okay. This one? This one has a special place in my heart. Not just because it was a jaw-droppingly beautiful sunrise boat proposal off the coast of Riviera Beach, but because it got picked up by none other than @shesaidyes and yep, I still do a little happy dance every time I think about it. 😄

Let’s rewind.

Tyler pulled off one of the most epic (and hilarious) proposals I’ve ever had the honor to photograph. He told Emily they were doing a sunrise shoot for a luxury charter company totally believable, especially since he actually works for the boat company. The goal? Capture dreamy content of their new “sunrise cruise.” The twist? There was no client. Just me, a very real engagement ring (plus a fake one for dramatic effect), and the best ocean view in Palm Beach County.

We launched from Riviera Beach Marina while it was still dark, chasing the soft glow of morning light over the Atlantic. Just as the sky turned pink and the breeze kicked up, Tyler went full actor mode: he pulled out the decoy ring and “accidentally” dropped it. Emily gasped, laughed, freaked out a little and then he pulled out the real ring, dropped to one knee, and proposed for real. Iconic.

Her reaction was everything. Giddy, emotional, completely shocked. It was intimate and honest and totally unfiltered, just how I love it. We even had dolphins swimming nearby like it was some kind of romcom finale. You cannot make this stuff up.

On the way back to the dock, we took advantage of the golden light for a few portraits that felt more like “we just got engaged” joy than anything posed. It was magic. This session had everything: a prank, a proposal, dolphins, pastel skies, and a whole lot of love.

And the fact that millions of people got to experience it when it hit the feed of one of the biggest proposal accounts out there? Yeah. That part still makes me proud.
